With the huge range of tablets available from Kindle, its hard to know what one to get. To be fair they all do pretty much the same things, with the main difference being the quality, speed and storage capacity. Some of the really basic ones don’t even feature a webcam so we found it hard to really justify purchasing something so basic even if they are right at the bottom end of cheap. Here however we found a device that coming in just over the $200 mark hits just about every nail bang on the head and with the clarity and speed to keep even those hard core users happy. And it should be mentioned with a battery life to match!

Starting with the main selling point, its super clear High Definition display, something the marketing department obviously pushed like mad, it boasts over 2million pixels. The color accuracy is next to none making games and video one of the best on the market even when compared to the super expensive Surface tab models.

They have also included one of the most powerful processors we have come across in the 7” tablet category which means even the most demanding tablet games run smoothly. Applications launch quickly and surfing online with the newly updated browser is super smooth.

Other particularly notable features include its massive battery life which is stated up to 11hours but we managed to get 7-8hours on medium usage which is still very impressive. It is also light! When compared to the Nexus 7 the Fire is noticeably lighter without feeling cheap.

Its built in application list and office suite is also feature packed and will ensure your tablet acts as a modern organiser and business or studies calendar.

Facebook, SKYPE and all other common apps work with ease, however you will need to use the Amazon Kindle store if you want to buy movies and TV series.
